Georgas) was told by his mother that his father Joe "Bulldog" Callahan (Chuck Sullivan) a US Marine, and Medal of Honor holder, was killed in action in Vietnam, and never told Bulldog, whom she divorced while he was in Nam, that he had a Son. Forty years later the two are united. The son wants to know what kind of stock he comes from, and possible why his mother did what she did, and the father wants to know what his son is made of. So they plan a road trip to Washington DC to attend a banquet for America's surviving Medal of Honor holders.
